May 1, 2025Review by-Jessica LeilaMy husband and I came to Djibouti on a last minute trip, with minimal research and time to prepare, it was essential to find a trusted tour guide. After reaching out to several tour operators, Tata Tours was by far the most responsive and flexible to tailoring a private 1 day tour. Our tour guide, Rashid, was exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable, impeccable English and truly cares about the guest experience. We were blown away with what we saw. We swam with whale sharks, it was an unbelievable, bucket list experience. Lake Assal is not too far from the whale sharks and worth the trip to see the salt flats and lake. Rashid also included a few other short but very cool spots like hidden canyons with fish, coral reefs, tectonic plates and more! You will not be disappointed choosing Tata Tours for your trip to Djibouti.
